Users that make the correct prediction are rewarded, while users on the other side of the prediction would lose their funds. If you have tried the ‘Futures trading’ feature of Binance, you’d love playing the prediction game.
The premise of the DAOventures Prediction Game is very simple, predict whether the price of BNB/USDT will go up or down at the end of the time period compared to the start. If a user has entered a ‘UP’ position and the price of BNB/USDT is higher at the end than at the start of the period, then the user would win a part of the prize pool.
How Does The Prediction Game Work?
Each Prediction Game round has three specific phases that the user must follow.
Phase 1 — Connecting A Digital Wallet
The first step is to connect a digital wallet that has crypto assets through which a user can play the Prediction game. All popular wallets such as Metamask and others are supported by the gaming platform.
Phase 2 — Choose An Entry Position
At the beginning of the round, users can choose to enter either a UP or DOWN position based on what they think the price will be at the end of the time period. Only during this phase can users enter positions and deposit funds.
Phase 3 — Live and Locked
During this phase, the start price is locked in and users can see in real-time how the price is changing. When the time period ends, the closing price will be set and be used to determine which users are eligible for the winning rewards.
Phase 4 — Payout
Once the closing price is determined, users that made the correct prediction will be rewarded accordingly.

Chainlink Oracle is used for the price feed of all tokens involved. The decentralized Chainlink Oracle allows the Prediction Game to get the most reliable and accurate price data for all the token pairs involved in the Prediction Game.
Data from Chainlink is used to determine the locked price and the ending price, which is then used to determine the winning users.

1% of the total prize pool will be transferred to DAOventures Treasury for operations/marketing costs.
